The 60Plus Senior Women’s Social Holiday Brunch is just around the corner. Please join us as we celebrate the winter season and holidays together. We’ll be meeting at Rosie McCann’s restaurant in downtown Santa Cruz at 11:00am on Sunday, December 16th. Rosie’s offers an elevator in the rear of the building and there is a large parking lot (the Soquel/Front streets parking garage) behind with an entrance there as well as the Pacific Avenue entrance.

In keeping with our tradition, please bring a $10 gift card from a favorite business of yours to put into the gift exchange. This is a great way to support local businesses and to introduce someone new to one of your favorite establishments. Dress up to enjoy your holiday spirit or come as you are.

There are a limited amount of scholarships available so please don't let cost prevent you from coming! RSVP as soon as possible by emailing Jane @ janeruth@cruzio.com or call 831-425-5422 ext. 108. We hope to see you there!

Live Oak Grange (map)

f_joa9ewes0.jpg

Contra dancing is an American folk form that evolved out of English country dancing and French quadrilles and is a close cousin to American square dancing. This is a community social dance that requires no prior experience. Bring a friend or come alone. Folks change partners with each new dance. There is always live music and a Caller teaching and prompting each dance.

6:30pm lesson, 7:00pm dancing
