The Diversity Center is a beacon of support and inspiration for the LGBTQ+ community. Established in 1989, the Center has grown into a comprehensive hub providing essential services, safe spaces, educational programs, and enriching events informed by the Eight Dimensions of Wellness. We are dedicated to creating a vibrant, intergenerational LGBTQ+ community through collaborative efforts. Our services foster a sense of belonging and promote queer-affirming well-being practices allowing individuals to build resiliency and thrive.

Threads of Love The AIDS Memorial Quilt is a living love letter to the past, present, and future of the LGBTQ+ community. We are partnering with the National AIDS Memorial to display panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. The exhibit will also feature TDC's  Never the Last Love Letter documentary, our Queer Liberation Community Quilt, and art honoring 50 years of Santa Cruz Pride. Inspired by a queer teen’s wish to see the AIDS Memorial Quilt, this exhibit invites reflection on the impact of the HIV/AIDS crisis and the ongoing fight for justice and healing.
