Bilingual Support Group
Bilingual Support Group for Parents & Guardians of LGBTQ+ Youth
Wednesdays, March 18, 2021- May 13th, 2021 | 7:00pm to 8:15pm
Zoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86527747178
Meeting ID: 865 2774 7178
This group will create a space for parents and guardians of LGBTQ+ youth to connect and address their concerns, questions, and feelings about being the parent or guardian of an LGBTQ+ youth.
Parents and guardians of LGBTQ+ youth can benefit from support if they are having conflicted feelings about their child’s gender or sexual identity. They might have concerns about judgment or rejection from their friends, coworkers, church or faith center, and may not be able to have the conversation yet about how to show up as support for someone else.
Parents and guardians of LGBTQ+ youth may need empathy for their own sense of loss that their child's life will not be as they had expected/hoped/dreamed. This will be an interactive group where parents will get support from parents, and a social work intern facilitator.
Spanish translation will be available. This no-cost group is run by a bilingual/bicultural facilitator. Spanish-speaking and English-speaking parents/guardians are welcome to join. Please feel free to share or contact facilitator, Tania Zepeda, with any questions.

Grupo de Apoyo Bilingüe Para Padres y Guardianes de Jóvenes LGBTQ+
Jueves, 18 de marzo de 2021-13 de mayo de 2021 | 7:00 pm a 8:15 pm
Enlace de zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86527747178
Meeting ID: 865 2774 7178
