Grieving Together: Tending our Queer Hearts
Date: First Monday every month

This group’s intention is to hold space for collective queer grief in these times. Whether you’re feeling heavy with the world or experiencing personal loss, we’ll be holding space to grieve together. The group will be facilitated by Ore Ganin-Pinto, Interfaith Chaplain and Harper Cheaney, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Queer Book Club
Date: July 7 and the First Tuesday of Every Month

Write Queer, A Creative Writing Group
Dates: Second and fourth Saturdays, July 11 and July 25
Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 Noon
Location: The Diversity Center
Ages: 18+
Join Jesse for all or part of this series, running through the end of August. Unleash your creativity at an 18+ group for writers of all levels. Respond to provided prompts, or bring your own projects. Meetings include writing time, optional sharing, and positive feedback. Please bring a pen and paper or a laptop.
Guided Mindfulness Group
Date: Every Thursday
Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: The Diversity Center
Ages: 14+
Give your brain a break, and reconnect with the present moment, using guided breathing and mindfulness techniques. All LGBTQ+ and allied community members are welcome.
LGBTQ+ Gamers Group
Date: Saturday, July 25
Time: 1:00 pm
Location: The Diversity Center
Ages: 18+
For gamers of all types, to socialize and game. Join for our monthly meetup, and bring your favorite board games and card games to play! In the group’s Discord we discuss event times, computer games, and other gaming topics.
NeuroQueer Space
Date: Third Tuesday of Every Month
Starting Tuesday, September 15

A space for all types of NeuroQueer folks to connect with each other, explore resources, and practice joy. All are welcome including those who are formally diagnosed, self-diagnosed, and questioning. The first meeting will be focused on group brainstorm to plan future sessions. The Space will feature rotating facilitation by TDC Staff and Interns.

Chop It Like It’s Hot: Queer Clothing Swap and Gender-Affirming Haircuts!

Come one, come all! Let’s change it up this summer! Try a new hairstyle, swap some clothes, and connect with the community. Work with licensed hair stylists from Nine Lives Salon, bring some clothes to share, and leave feeling like a new you 💅 Let’s slayyyy for summer! Tips are encouraged for stylists for donating their time. Brought to you in collaboration between The Diversity Center, Lionel Cantú Queer Resource Center, and Motion Pacific. RSVP required for a haircut. We will do our best to accommodate your haircut request, but slots are limited.
Queer Movie Club
Date: July 18, and the Third Saturday of every month

Join old friends and new for a screening of an LGBTQ+ movie. We’ve got popcorn, snacks, and a big screen, and we’re ready for some fun and conversation!

Queer and Trans Yoga with Sapphire Collective
Date: Every Monday
Time: 6:00 - 7:15 pm
Location: The Diversity Center
Ages: 14+
This is a trauma-sensitive, all-levels, all-bodies/abilities class taught by a rotating queer-identifying yoga teacher each week. We highlight self-nurturance through yoga asana and meditation, a somatic and mindfulness healing practice that resources us for our own resilience as well as community care. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Ultimately, this is a brave space for LGBTQIA++ identifying folks to gather and take deep care. Please bring your yoga mat and water bottle.
