Kelsey Hartman, Caller, will be using gender-neutral dance role terms Larks/Ravens, Larks=person on the Left, Ravens=person on the Right while teaching and prompting this community Contra Dance. The band will be Bowling For Dollars, playing Old-Time music. Come alone or bring a friend, each new dance, the Caller will ask you "to thank this partner and find a new one for the next Contra dance" When you are first learning, it is best to find an experienced dancer to dance with so you can learn faster :) This is a very friendly, welcoming crowd!
