Free Movie Night at the Del Mar: Gen Silent

  • The Del Mar Theatre 1124 Pacific Avenue Santa Cruz, CA, 95060 United States (map)

Gen Silent is a documentary, told through the eyes of six LGBT seniors in Boston. Isolated and reluctant to ask for help, some LGBT aging people go back to hiding their sexuality or gender identity to survive.

Free admission (Registration is required, reserve your ticket at hospicesantacruz.org)

Join us for a follow up discussion about the importance of continued inclusiveness and safe spaces for LGBT individuals. As Maddux says in the film’s trailer: “If we are saying ‘come out and be filled with pride,’ then it is our responsibility that that continues right through their last day.”

This event is proudly supported by the City of Santa Cruz, Landmark Theatres, Hospice of Santa Cruz County, and The Diversity Center.
