Men's and Women’s Socials

Every other month, the 60Plus Senior Socials provide informal opportunities for camaraderie and friendship.

What

Men’s socials and women’s socials are opportunities for connection, laughter, and meeting other LGBTQ+ seniors in Santa Cruz county over light food and beverages. Please email 60plus@diversitycenter.org to RSVP or get more information.

When

Socials usually happen on the second or third Saturday of every other month. The gatherings are held in February, April, June, August, October and December, usually mid-month. Women’s socials occasionally occur on Sundays. To see when our next social is, check our Community Calendar. These events are volunteer-led. If you are an LGBTQ+ senior interested in hosting a social, please contact 60plus@diversitycenter.org

Where

At The Diversity Center, a private residence, or on an outing. The location changes for each social. Email 60plus@diversitycenter.org for the address.

Cost

We ask for a $5 donation at the door, to help cover the costs of refreshments, with all additional monies going to help support the Diversity Center’s 60Plus Senior Program.
