Begun by the women of St. John's Episcopal Church 57 years ago to raise money for a new carpet for our former church on Depot Hill, the Shop is a vital part of Capitola Village and a continued service to the community. Our manager, Pam Rhodes, and 30 faithful volunteers receive and resell clean, gently used items in good condition that have been donated by parishioners and generous community members.

Creative Memories
A scrapbook with pictures from each attendee was created. Yvette Keller, who runs Creative Memories, talked about and demonstrated ways to preserve and protect memories. A photo 'scrapbook' for the 60+ Program to use and add to as time goes by was made.

Sandy Skezas, MSW is the Adult Services Program Manager for the County of Santa Cruz. She is responsible for Adult Protective Services and the In Home Support Services Programs (IHSS), including screening and nursing staff. Identity Theft and Protection Against
Attorney Morgan Taylor.
Currently an attorney in private practice, and formerly an Assistant District Attorney for Santa Cruz Countyprosecuting environmental and consumer cases and supervising the consumer protection division. This division included the elder abuse and consumer affairs units and public administration. Morgan spoke about identitytheft and the myriad problems that come about as a result and ways of protecting yourself.
