The City of Santa Cruz is very supportive of our presence, and we want to reciprocate it by meeting all permit terms- which means providing safety monitors at intersections and along the Parade route. Since we are offering participation in the parade at such low suggested donation rates, it is really important that you provide the requisite number of volunteer monitors. Monitor training will be on Thursday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 23 at 6pm at The Diversity Center, 1117 Soquel Avenue, Santa Cruz. All monitors and drivers must attend one of the trainings.
Here are our requested minimum donations for participating in the parade.
$25 Trucks/Floats
$20 Car
$10 Walking Contingent
$25 Per Motorcyle Contingent
Our permit also requires us to provide barricades, security guards, tow trucks, no parking signs and police officers, so your requested donations are greatly needed.
