Marginadas- por la "zoociedad"

Marginadas

The "zoociety" (society) with its taboos, marginalize people that are LGBT (different). We are told in the Bible ... that God created man and woman ... I wonder:  For gay people, who created us? .. Perhaps it was the devil?

Why must we marginalize? Why aren't we accepted and seen like any other human being? If we have developed like everyone else and even better. Why have laws that forbid us from supporting our partner ... Why?

Josefina Estrada - Pintora

Josefina

I was born in 1966 in San Francisco Angamacutiro Mich. Mexico. In 1983 the family decided to leave and settle in the City of Morelia Mich. From a young age she realizes that she likes drawing and while in Morelia, after visiting the house of culture one time, she discovers that there are classes in painting and decided to participate in them. In 1988 she entered the school of fine arts with the intention of being an art teacher. There she learned other techniques of painting and sculpture. The cost of the materials for that school prevent her from continuing with her art instruction and decides to study for another career for 3 years inorder to have a secured paying job to conitnue her art studies. This turns out to be impossible with her working hours.

Despite all these obstacles, she continues painting. One day she met the aquarellist [a painter in thin transparent watercolors] Luis Paredes, who exhibits his paintings in the main square of Morelia and asked him to teach her watercolor painting. Every Sunday she went to his classes until she decides to come into this country in which she has settled for the past 8 years.

Josephine wants to raise awareness in people through her work with problems she believes are serious must be taken into account because they affect us in one way or another.

Like homophobia, contanimacion, violence, war and the love of money, (having other things of more value).

Josefina paints what she feels, with colors she feels. In some of her paintings she places the heart as a symbol. She believes that this is the principle organ that is the source of all feelings and emotions.
